The 5th event barrack obama winning nobel prize needs a discussion. I think it&#39;s more because of USA&#39;s influence on world politics than anything else. Our country&#39;s past PM mr. GP Koirala is also being promoted for the peace prize. I thinfk he would be more than eligible if only he was able to guide the whole peace process to a conclusive manner and show some hesitency to patriarchy. It seems the true meaning of nobel peace prize is being defeated. The cop summit could have been more fruitful if the world leaders agreed on lasting deal that allows the co2 emission to desired level. Again the developed countries continued their grandiose approach. the srilankan army&#39;s success remains to be seen over the coming years. It will be so, if only the LTTE remains backstage.
